Music is constantly evolving, trends come in, and die out, but energy never dies. This is what I am aiming to encapsulate, the feeling you get when listening to a poignant song, the vitality the song holds.

I decided to display my work in collages, as a way to show the dynamism of a live band, yet also, by colour. Colour itself has emotion, red for passion, anger. Blue for coolness and strength, green is ambition, greed, jealousy.

When I take a photo of a musician, I try to portray their passion and raw emotion- it’s desire, it’s sensation, it’s an escape from reality.
